AE Challenge

Entrepreneurial Activity Challenge (Desafío AE) is a project through which students are faced with the challenge of planning and carrying out an activity within their school or local environment throughout the course.

What is Desafío AE?

Desafío Actividad Emprendedora (Entrepreneurial Activity Challenge – Desafío AE) is a project in which students face the challenge, throughout the school year, of planning and carrying out an activity within their school or local environment. This involves each group analyzing different ways of undertaking entrepreneurial efforts, exploring their socio-economic context, generating ideas that address identified needs or demands, organizing their team, planning the necessary resources to carry out the project, and executing the idea after assessing its viability.

The project supports the development of all key competencies:

Methodology

A dynamic, practical, participatory, and procedural methodology will be used, in which students play an active role in the teaching-learning process.

It is based on project-based learning, through which students acquire entrepreneurial skills that will help them face future personal and professional challenges.

It will be supported by discovery learning, which aims for students to independently uncover concepts, techniques, and behaviors related to entrepreneurial activity. Discovery learning is an essential tool for developing students’ autonomy, initiative, and creativity, allowing them to construct their own learning.

It will also be supported by cooperative learning, which allows students to learn from and with each other, fostering teamwork habits and solidarity among students.
